Aim High Basketball Shooting Camp
 
Station 1-Form Shooting
  • B.E.E.F (Balance, Eyes, Elbow, Follow Through)
  • 1 Hand – Start 1 foot away from Basket, Work to Mid-Lane (10 shots each spot)
  • 2 Hands – Mid-Lane to just inside 3pt. Line
 
Station 2-Mid-Range Shooting
*Focusing on shots 10 – 16 feet
  • Day 1 – Working on “stepping in” to the pass and shot will be stationary and on the move
  • Day 2 – Working on “Jump Stop” on pass and shot stationary and on the move
  • Day 3 – Working on movement w/o the ball and usage of screens (V cut, L cut, Jabs; Curls, Pops, Fades ETC.)
  • Day 4 – Working on shots w/ the ball (Creating, Space, Drawing Contact, Jab Steps + Ball Fakes)
  • Day 5 – Combination or 4 previous days focusing on areas that need most Improvement
 

Station 3-Free Throws

  • Not enough attention is given to Free Throws!
  • 100 Attempts – Focusing on repetition and concentration
 
Station 4 – 3 Point Range
* Focusing on keeping form true, and not compromising it due to distance
  • Day 1 - Stepping into” Pass – Stationary catch and shoot; also working off the move
  • Day 2 – Working on using jump stop in half – court and transition spotting up
  • Day 3 – Movement w/o the ball – using screens to free for here
  • Day 4 – Using dribble screens to recognize “Three” shots and options – use of step Back and jab steps
  • Day 5 – Mix of 4 previous days focusing on area that needs most improvement
 
Station 5 – Toss Back
  • Using Toss Back Machine to simulate game passes – utilize form, Mid – Range And 3 pt. Shots
  • Form is focused upon in all shots
Each Day 6-minutes per day
  • Mid Range Catch and shoot
  • Mid Range Dribble move / shot (Also off of screen)
  • 3 Pt. Catch and shoot
  • 3 Pt. Dribble move / shot (also off of screen)
